"Buffalo Thunder "

Buffalo Thunder is a new adventure for me. Barb has been wanting me to carve an Indian for some time, so this is her idea. Her Great Great Grandmother was a full blooded Cherokee. She still honors a lot of the old Indian customs. Buffalo Thunder is wearing a buffalo robe made from the hide of a buffalo that he killed. He has painted pictures and symbols of different hunts and battles in his life. He is a proud and honorable brave in his tribe.

The 2 inch high walnut base measures 8 3/4 x 9 1/2 inches. Buffalo Thunder is 15 1/2 inches tall, standing on a 3 inch rock base, making him 22 inches overall, including the feathers in his hair.
