Woodcarving Knives

I use and sell Helvie woodcarving knives. I don't believe that you can buy a better woodcarving knife. A Helvie knife looks nice, feels good in your hand, and sharpens easily, and will hold an edge. The handles are made from highly durable Pakkawood, and several different kinds of wood, cherry, walnut, oak, etc. and comes in a large variety of colors, shapes, and sizes. We have several new designs that Barb and I have had a part in designing. Helvie knives come sharp and ready to use. They are extremely sharp. The blades are made of high carbon tungsten steel, and treated to 58 on the Rockwell scale. The Helvie blade is offered in several shapes and sizes, from Detail to the large Jumbo.
